Amin is a PhD candidate in Linguistics at Macquarie University. His PhD project is on instructed second language acquisition with a particular focus on input processing and processing instruction. In his research, Amin uses online tests, including self-paced reading and self-paced listening tests, to explore how instruction may facilitate second language acquisition. Amin has been working as an ESL practitioner and researcher for over 15 years. Currently, he is teaching tutorials for the Introduction to Psycholinguistics unit at the Department of Linguistics and the Academic Communication unit at Macquarie University College.
